Each fish was made at separate times since 2015 and are used in a variety of installations. This particular assemblage was made in 2016.

'She Takes She Shares' is part of an ongoing personal exploration of connecting values, culture and identity through food and the stories we share over a meal. The four river fish caught on a line faces the inherent maternal dilemma of giving life and taking others in order to provide. To share, she takes.

Resilience is getting through the day stronger than the day before, no matter the pull. This particular strength relies on how we feed our mind, our body and those around us.
